Inspired by the peaceful waterways and open landscapes of Norfolk, this piece captures the gentle glow of evening light reflected across still water.

Reeds and marsh grasses frame the foreground, while the broad horizon and expansive sky create a sense of openness and calm. The reflection of light upon the water becomes the focal point of the scene, transforming an ordinary moment into something quietly beautiful.

Through soft pastel, I sought to capture not only the landscape itself, but the atmosphere of Norfolk's marshes and waterways,  places where light, water and sky come together in perfect harmony.
