Inspired by the wide open spaces and changing skies of North Yorkshire, this piece captures the glow of evening as the day gently comes to a close.  The river reflects the light above, leading the eye through the landscape towards the horizon.

Through soft pastel, I wanted to convey the warmth, movement and freedom of the countryside, a place that brings calm, clarity and a sense of home.
