Inspired by the peaceful landscapes of Norfolk, this piece captures a quiet meeting of water, grassland and sky beneath soft, shifting light.

The gentle colours and open horizon reflect the unique character of the Norfolk Broads, where the landscape stretches outward and invites a slower pace of observation. The still water provides a focal point within the wide expanse of marshland, creating a sense of balance and calm.

Through soft pastel, I sought to capture not only the appearance of the landscape, but the feeling of tranquillity and space that makes Norfolk such a restorative place to visit."
