Inspired by childhood holidays spent camping among the pine forests of Wells-next-the-Sea, this piece explores the way memories are often held not in exact details, but in light, colour and atmosphere.
Golden sunlight filters through the trees and falls across the forest floor, transforming an ordinary woodland scene into something almost magical. The painting reflects the wonder of childhood adventures, long summer days and the lasting connection we carry to places that shaped our earliest memories.
Through soft pastel, I sought to capture not only the landscape itself, but the feeling of stepping back into a treasured memory and rediscovering the simple joy of being immersed in nature.
This piece comes unframed.
