Inspired by the wildflower meadows of North Yorkshire, this piece celebrates the colour, movement and vitality of the countryside in summer.

Vibrant blooms rise through the grasses beneath a soft evening sky, creating a landscape filled with warmth and energy. Rather than focusing on detail, the work seeks to capture the feeling of standing amongst the flowers, surrounded by colour, light and the gentle movement of the breeze.

Through soft pastel, I aimed to convey the joy and freedom found in nature's most colourful moments, and the memories that such places leave behind long after the season has passed.
